ImprovBoston: Tuesday, April 16, 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM
Add to an evolving story by being part of a high-energy interactive theater performance completely made up on the spot! Winner of the Nickelodeon award for Best Children’s Theater, ImprovBoston dishes out the laughs to audiences of all ages. Experience why ImprovBoston has been at the center of the comedy map for more than 35 years through this creative, inspiring, engaging, and hilarious show.
Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras: Friday, April 19, 6:30 PM
Experience storytelling through music with the talented musicians from Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras consists of six youth orchestras whose goal is music making of the highest level. They believe that a generous and passionate commitment to music among fellow young musicians will deepen the sensitivity, understanding, and intelligence of students and open their eyes to the world.
Haitian Dance with Jean Appolon: Saturday, April 20, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM & 12:30 PM
Storytelling comes in all different forms – including dance and movement. Enjoy a special performance of Haitian modern and folkloric dance by youth members of Jean AppolonExpressions’ spring dance intensive. After a week of intensive workshops, youth share their stories though movement with their families, friends, and museum visitors.
