Looking for the best things to do in Miami and South Florida this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your weekend list!

May the Fourth be with you this weekend as Miami and South Florida families celebrate Star Wars Day with events at the Museum of Discovery and Science and Long Key Natural Area and Nature Center. It's also Cinco de Mayo, and families can celebrate Mexican culture while helping to end food insecurity in South Florida.  

Enjoy the outdoors with open-air concerts, nature walks, an arts festival, and a carnival. Sunday marks the start of Fleet Week in South Florida, and the Frost Museum of Science has an afternoon of exciting activities planned. Comic book fans have their day on Saturday, while fans of flowers won't want to miss Miami Beach's inaugural Orchid and Art Festival.
