Guest speaker Dr. Charlotte Ward of Princeton University hosts a free astronomy talk in the museum’s Planetarium. Take a tour of the supermassive black holes across the cosmos, from our own Milky Way to the farthest reaches of the visible universe.

The speaker explains how astronomers detect black holes at various distances from Earth, and present recent discoveries on how these black holes first formed about 13 billion years ago. 

Please note, these talks are for adults and older children but all are welcome.
