1. Boundless Adventures  - Purchase

Tweens and teens will love trying their hand on these “aerial adventures”, which involve everything from zip lining to balancing high above the ground on courses that vary by difficulty. Birthday parties include 2-and-a-half hours on the courses (there's also an orientation), and you can either have food delivered or pack your own. Just note that for kids under 12, there has to be at least one adult on the ground for every 10 kids climbing.

2. Showcase Cinema - Yonkers and White Plains

Sure, you could take the crew to the movies—or you could rent out the whole theater to celebrate. That option, available at Showcase Cinema de Lux City Center in White Plains or Showcase Cinema de Lux Ridge Hill in Yonkers, is available for up to 20 people. You can also opt for a “concession package”, with choices like popcorn, drinks, personal pizza, and more.

3. Grand Prix - Mount Kisco

There are lots of things to keep kids occupied at this Mount Kisco mainstay: Go-kart racing, a ninja course, an arcade, and virtual reality. There are party packages specifically for the 9-to-11 and 12-to-17 age groups, both of which can include all the activities mentioned. The big difference is that the younger kids are set up on the junior race track. Or, skip the go-karting and opt for a bowling party, which can also be held here.

4. The Puzzle Parlour - White Plains

Teens can test their abilities in one of these four escape rooms, which can accommodate up to eight people and feature themes like "vampire" and "alien conspiracy." Just keep in mind that parties with kids under 14 will need an adult present.

5. Glam Beauty Bar – Larchmont

For kids who want to get all dolled up, consider a party at this Larchmont salon. The package for tweens and teens features manicures, pedicures, airbrush makeup, and colorful hair extensions, with time built in for selfies. Check out our full rundown of spa party ideas in Westchester.

6. The Cliffs - Valhalla

Have a budding rock climber on your hands? Then a party at this Valhalla climbing gym will be a hit. Packages vary by length of time, but if you opt for the 2-hour party, you’ll get climbing time, an instructor, a private room, and the option of adding on gift bags.

7. iFly - Yonkers

If your teen wants to go skydiving but you prefer something a little, well, closer to the ground, then iFly, which offers indoor skydiving, is a good compromise. “The Elevated” package includes two flights, rentals, and training, plus a party room, pizza, and more.

8. Muse Paint Bar - White Plains and Yonkers

At this paint bar in either downtown White Plains or at Ridge Hill in Yonkers, art-loving teens and tweens can paint their creations. An instructor leads the show, and you can either add on food through them or provide it yourself. Decorations are also ok, as are playlists, and they can offer other creative ideas, too, like the use of an Instax camera.
