Sensory Saturdays at The Miami Children's Museum
- see all dates
A sensory-friendly experience awaits at the Miami Children’s Museum on the second Saturday of every month.
The second Saturday of each month guests are welcome to explore the Museum in a sensory modified and supportive setting with limited admission. The museum hosts an environment with lowered sound and lighting. Service providers are available to speak about community resources available to families. Networking with other families is encouraged.
While at the Museum guests can enjoy a sensory-friendly stage performance and participate in sensory-based activities. The museum offers an environment where children have the opportunity to engage in social interactions and improve the processing, modulation, and regulation of sensory input to increase their understanding of and participation in a natural environment.
Admission to Sensory Friendly Saturday is free with Museum admission but RSVP is required as space is limited. Registration closes the Friday before each event at 5pm.
