We always say summer is the season of free! Local parks and cultural institutions host tons of free summer programming from morning to way after dark (free summer movies, anyone?) There's also tons of free fun at local playgrounds, splash pads, and even these free Jersey Shore beaches! So, fill up those water bottles, pack some snacks and sunscreen, and get ready to explore all the free activities for kids in New Jersey this summer.

What should I bring to a free outdoor event?
Pack for a day of outdoor adventure! We never leave home without a water bottle, a stocked snack bag, hats, and sunscreen! A light towel or change of clothes is helpful on hot days, where the allure of a playground sprinkler might be too hard to pass up!
